625KVA secondhand diesel generating set, containerised, powered by a G. M. Detroitt diesel engine, type 16VF, model 8163-7305, serial no. 034404, twin turbocharged, radiator cooled, electric start 1500 rpm diesel engine. Coupled to an Kato alternator 415 volt, 3 phase, 50 cycles, 0.8pf. (Can also operate on 440 volts, 60 cycles). Machine fitted out in container with electrical control panel, in and output terminal box, integral exhaust silencers and built in fuel tank. Approx. dimensions 20 ft. long x 8 ft. wide x 8 ft. 6” high. Hours run 2,384 hours only. Weight approx. 12 tons.
