A United 2 Stand Temper Mill (Incomplete)

A United Engineering 2 Stand Temper Mill (406-1118mm Coil Width) originally commissioned in 1951 with Entry Walking Beam installed by BWG in 1992. Included in the sale are the 2 Mill Stands each with 746kw motors; Decoiler with 224kw Drive Motor and Entry Tension Bridle with 186kw and 373kw motors, Recoiler & Belt Wrapper.

Some of the Exit end drive components of the Mill are missing together with all work rolls, back up rolls and chocks.

This Mill is one of an identical pair of Mills that were bought by present owners. The second Mill (not available) was widened and upgraded for processing 1250 mm wide material.
